ISLA Americas: Morgan Stanley's Steve Schneider elected to ISLA Americas Board of Directors

New York, Wednesday July 16, 2025 – The International Securities Lending Association Americas (ISLAA), a leading industry trade association representing the common interests of securities lending and financing market participants across the Americas, is delighted to announce that Steve Schneider, Executive Director, Equity Finance Product Development at Morgan Stanley, has joined the ISLA Americas Board of Directors.

Steve joined Morgan Stanley in 1996 spending the first 10 years of his career in Operations before transitioning to the Securities Lending desk where he has held a number of roles across the business. Steve’s expertise and leadership further strengthen ISLA Americas’ mission, and his appointment reflects the organization’s commitment to borrower engagement, cross-border collaboration, and a more unified global strategy alongside ISLA EMEA.

The appointment follows ISLA Americas’ first Annual General Meeting held on July 10 which provided members an update on the growth of the organization’s membership as well as key deliverables, advocacy priorities as well as market developments in Latin America.
